Oyster mushrooms are commonly found in the wild and can be grown easily indoors under normal conditions. Our kit is a colony of Oyster Mushroom mycelium growing on enriched hardwood sawdust, which serves as food for the mycelium and provides the necessary nutrients to produce beautiful mushrooms much like it would grow on a log in the forest. Just give your kit a light misting every day and mushrooms will begin popping up within two weeks of activation!
Grow mushrooms from this kit for up to three months indoors before transplanting it outside to your garden. Oyster mushrooms can easily be grown outdoors on spent coffee grounds, hardwood logs, paper waste, straw and other organic materials. Kit includes instructions & recipes. Get growing!

All mushroom kits should be started within a week of receiving them. If you can't start your kit right away it can be safely refrigerated for up to 4 weeks.
Had a fair first flush but some of the smaller ones turned brown and hardened a bit. I have grown oysters in a bucket before and had good success. The second flush has begun already and looks promising. I think my main problem is my humidity control, am working in it. Love your product and will continue to be a customer. I plan putting the older brick in the garden for future growing.
The instructions were easy to follow, and a great introduction into growing one’s own mushrooms. I wasn’t able to get my block to fruit a second time, and am hoping following the instructions to transplant it to grow in the yard will still offer some fruiting in the future, but overall I appreciate the personal touch, the thorough instructions, and the timeliness of the order. Would definitely order from them again.
I got my oyster kit multiple months ago, got about 3ish harvests from the bag, and then transfered the substrate into a bucket with coffee ground layers in between. I honestly didn't expect another flush, but after about 2ish-3 weeks, more oysters!! Loved the experience and the taste of these mushrooms! I also love that it's local to my area :)
I got some expert advice from the company and my mushrooms really took off.
I followed instructions took longer than it said for mushrooms to appear and only 2 clusters grew at first and only a few of those got big enough to pick and color seemed off they stayed white not grey like picture in add
Hello! Thank you for leaving a review! It sounds like your block could have benefitted from more airflow/indirect light. These variable effect how fast the mushrooms grow and their coloring. Email if you would like to talk more! Your block will produce multiple crops!
